A few months ago, after several collaborations with the American brand from Baltimore and some of its ambassadors (the ASM Clermont Auvergne Rugby Club, the boxers Souleymane Cissokho & Anthony Joshua…) we met the French judoka Teddy Riner as he just joined the Under Armour team. We went to the National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance (INSEP) in Paris for a first shooting of digital content.
A few weeks later, we were selected to write and direct the first Under Armour TV commercial about Teddy! A huge challenge that we met with passion during the summer with a shooting in Paris in mid-September and a film release scheduled for the World Judo Championships in Morocco in mid-November.
Next step: a tenth world champion title for Teddy Riner!
We were locked in the Kremlin Studio in Paris for 2 days with Teddy, working together on the scenario we imagined and wrote during long weeks.
Filmed with the 6K RED Dragon with Canon K35 lenses, we succeeded in bringing life to what we originally had in mind, thanks to a cohesive technical team and to an enthusiastic Teddy Riner.
We are especially very happy to learn that after the broadcasting of the film, “Teddy Winner” became the world champion with 10 medals at only 28 years.
